It won’t come as any surprise – tonight’s swim is cancelled!!!
Low tide is at 5.22pm – and it’s very low, but it’ll be coming in so it’s possible to set courses going south against the flow and coming back wider out.
However, here’s the weather forecast for Thursday:
“Rain setting in early, with heavy falls. Northerlies rising to gale, possibly severe, turning westerly in the evening.”
Those westerly winds will be coming right at us, so there’s bound to be some questions about whether we swim. We’ll make a call as early as possible (no later than 3pm) and put the decision on this page and on our Facebook page
